I joined a group tour to Shanghai, China. Though I was initially scared to travel without my family and friends, I ended up enjoying the trip and making new friends from Pangasinan, Manila, Bohol, and Davao who were also part of the tour. During the tour, I saw various flowers, experienced island hopping, and enjoyed eating Tonkatsu Ramen. We also visited a jade factory, a Chinese medicinal products store, and a tea plantation, where we learned about tea preparation and its benefits.

The tiredness was worth it our trip was truly memorable. I traveled with my 2 grandsons. They enjoyed their walk to the top of the Great Wall of China only to buy bottled water at the highest station. They enjoyed the rides at universal studios Beijing not minding the long queue. Taking the bullet train from Beijing to Shanghai is an awesome experience. In Beijing our guide fed us as if it’s our last meal before electrocution. The food was delicious and was served hot. The hotel's rooms and dining were top-notch.
